Snake River Guided Fishing

The Snake River or “confluence” fisheries provide a variety of accommodations for people traveling from out of town. Located right in the heart of the Lewis and Clark valley, there are airports and lots of opportunities for recreational activity as well as a variety of different lodging options to make your fishing trip a great all around family get away. Not to mention the fishing can be incredible. This is a Chinook salmon fishery that begins mid-August and runs till mid-October. The fishing is typically the best the during the month of September. This season is a little earlier than our other fall salmon fisheries so the meat quality of this salmon can be spectacular. Fisheries management also allows us to harvest 3 adult Chinook per day, per person, making this a great trip to put some tasty salmon in the freezer. As part of the trip, fish are filleted or processed however you would like them.

When you come with us you are required to purchase a Washington fishing license for the days you will be fishing and you must have a salmon catch card which is free but you must request one upon purchase of your fishing license. We will provide all the fishing gear and equipment to ensure you are comfortable and more importantly, successful. Trolling is the primary method used when targeting Chinook. You can expect these fish to average from 8 to 15 pounds but it is not uncommon to catch 20+ lb. fish; although we have seen them as large as 40 lbs. Every year is a little different based on returns but one thing always stays the same, we will catch fish. The question is how many and how big! Come fish with us and we will find out, and make some memories in the process.
